Water Reliability Projects Allow SMWD to Meet Customer Demands

Due to the District’s planning and investment in local water reliability projects, SMWD customers will not see any impact or water service interruptions during the 11-day annual maintenance shutdown of the Metropolitan Water District’s (MWD) Allen-McColloch Pipeline. The 26-mile regional pipeline, which serves communities from Yorba Linda to San Clemente, is part of MWD’s continuous effort to upgrade and maintain the region’s vast imported water delivery system.
