Doing Business with SMWD

The District’s goal is to efficiently secure  operational supplies, materials, equipment, and services at the lowest possible cost.  Our warehouse maintains the parts and equipment needed for everyday repairs and maintenance activity.

The District’s Headquarters is located at 26111 Antonio Parkway, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688.  Our Receiving Department is in the Warehouse building at 26101 Antonio Parkway, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688, the next building down from the District’s Headquarters.  Warehouse/Receiving sign is clearly posted at the entrance of District’s Headquarters for directions and parking. 

Office Hours:
Regular office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except for Holidays. 

Warehouse hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, close between 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. 

Scheduled Visits:
Sales representatives are welcome to visit; however we recommend that you schedule an appointment in advance.  You can email a request for an appointment to:  In accordance to the SMWD code of ethics and good purchasing practices, employees cannot accept gifts or entertainment. Suppliers are requested to cooperate in this regard.

Purchasing Guidelines and Payment Terms:
The District requires that all transactions be pre-authorized with a valid Purchase Order number.  No employee shall purchase goods or services without a prior authorization. Transactions without a Purchase Order number could delay payment.  Always request a Purchase Order number and include it on your invoice.   Separate invoices are to be submitted for each Purchase Order number.  Invoices are paid 30 days after receipt of invoice.

Invoices shall not be delivered to any other person including any employee or representative of the District.

The District pays California State Sales and Use tax.  These taxes must be shown separately on the invoices.
